Setting Purchasing/Spending Limits – Purchase limits can be used to help control how much you spend on packages of Gold Coins within given periods. This is an optional tool that is designed to help keep your gameplay fun and within your budget. You can set a Daily, Weekly, and/or Monthly purchase limit at any time using this tool. When you first set a limit, it will take effect as soon as our Support Team confirms the limit has been set.
Once you reach a limit within a certain period you will not be able to purchase any more Gold Coin packages until the respective period has elapsed. You will be able to continue playing games with any remaining Gold Coins or Sweeps Coins on your account and you will be able to redeem any Redeemable Sweeps Coins in your account balance provided you have the minimum number of Redeemable Sweeps Coins required to submit a redemption request.
You can update a limit once it has been set, but you must contact our Support Team. Requests to decrease a purchase limit will take effect as soon as our Support Team updates your account. However, requests to increase or remove a purchase limit will be subject to a cooling-off period as defined below:
Daily purchase limit cooling-off period: 3 Days
Weekly purchase limit cooling-off period: 7 Days
Monthly purchase limit cooling-off period: 30 Days
Disable Purchasing – If you would like to continue playing with only free coins, we are happy to disable your ability to purchase Gold Coins. Our Support Team can disable this permanently, or for specific pre-requested periods of time (weeks, months, or longer). You will still be able to play games with free coins, but this will ensure you are unable to spend any money on our website.
Temporarily Close Your Account – If you feel that you just need a break from playing, we are more than happy to temporarily disable your account access. Your account will remain fully intact until a future time when we can re-open it for you. At the time of the request to temporarily close your account, we will require you to provide a future date or period of time before it can be re-opened, which will require your verified request at said time. We will not re-open your account prior to that date and we will not re-open it without a formal request from you.
PERMANENT ACCOUNT CLOSURE:
If you would like your account to be permanently closed, our Support Team will close your account and note the closure as permanent. You will have up to 24 hours after submitting a permanent closure request to rescind and cancel the request, but after 24 hours that account is permanently closed and cannot be re-opened under any circumstances.
If at any time during a temporary account closure or after a permanent account closure you need information about your account, you may submit a request to our Support Team and a member of our team will work to provide you with the requested information, if available.
PROTECTION OF MINOR CHILDREN:
Please note that to create an account on Golden Hearts Games you must be the age of majority in your state, which means that you must be at least 18 years old or older (for Alabama and Nebraska, a person must be 19 years of age or older; for Mississippi and Puerto Rico, a person must be 21 years of age or older). We collect your date of birth during account registration and any individual not the age of majority in his or her respective state will be unable to create an account. We DO NOT allow minors to create or use accounts, even with the permission and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
It is your responsibility to prevent access to your Golden Hearts Games account. To ensure that children are not able to access your account we recommend you take the following precautions: (a) never share or disclose your account credentials with a child (email & password); (b) do not use a “remember me” feature or password manager that stores your password to the Golden Hearts Games website; (c) never leave your device unattended; (d) always sign out of your account when you are done playing; and (e) do not give access to your credit or debit cards or digital wallets to a child.
There are several reputable companies and/or mobile apps that provide Parental Control Software that allow you to prevent children from accessing our website. We highly recommend utilizing one of these.
